Make Your Name Hallowed

Under His Wings

Responding to Covid-19

In order to comply with the governor’s restrictions we will not be meeting in person for the next three Sundays (March 22, 29, & April 5), and you will be informed as this ever evolving situation changes. Our desire is for folks to stay at home and still be spiritually fed and worship as a family. There will be a recorded message each week here on our church website. It will either be in audio format as usual, or possibly a video platform. We plan to have facebook links, as well.

The Scriptures address the subject of fear repeatedly. God knows we are prone to this paralyzing and irrational emotion. But as believers in Christ Jesus, we can rest in the sovereign control and care of God. Here are a few of the passages He has left for us to cling to:

Joshua 10:25 “Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous.”

Psalms 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Judges 6:23 The Lord said to him, “Peace to you, do not fear”

Psalms 27:3 Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident.

Psalms 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.

Psalms 55:4-5 My heart is in anguish within me, And the terrors of death have fallen upon me. Fear and trembling come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I shall call upon God, And the Lord will save me.

Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

We are here for you!

We are not just a church, but rather a fellowship of believers gathering in His presence, studying and listening to His Word, building friendships, and with His help, seeking to put into practice what we are learning.
